Cooking Lessons in a Villa in Sorrento

The Quanto Basta Cooking School is happy to announce a new opportunity to learn the secrets of Southern Italy's iconic cuisine!

We now offer cooking classes in a breathtaking villa in the lush hills outside Sorrento: Villa Capo Santa Fortunata in the charming hamlet of Capo, surrounded by a sweeping Mediterranean estate.

This historic villa was once the residence of the Duchess of Serracapriola, and over its long history has hosted such luminaries as the Duchess Anna D’Aosta and the Russian writer Maxim Gorky. Today, Villa Capo Santa Fortunata welcomes visitors from across the globe to its elegant halls where the soothing pace and timeless hospitality are the epitome of the Sorrento Coast.

Cooking lessons are for a minimum of two participants and have two daily sessions:

  • the morning session from 11 am to 1:30 pm
  • the evening session from 6 pm to 8:30 pm

Lessons include a welcome drink by the pool before settling in to prepare and cook in the villa annex surrounded by the gardens.

Our lessons include:

  • a welcome prosecco cocktail with a tasting of a large choice of local cheeses and meats.
  • a complete lesson preparing and cooking a pasta course, a meat, fish, or vegetable course, and a dessert which we will then enjoy together at lunch or dinner, paired with local wine.
